For the 4th consecutive season, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) is pleased to offer this sale to benefit education and exhibition programming. This event is FREE with paid admission to the museum (museum members must show membership card for free admittance). Tickets can be purchased in advanced at the museum or through Ticket Master.
The museum has gratefully received close to 60 game worn and game issued uniforms donated by the Kansas City Royals from the Salute to the Negro Leagues baseball game played in May 2009. 1924 Kansas City Monarchs and 1925 Chicago American Giants replica uniforms retain game wear and include autographs from Ozzie Guillen, Mark Buehrle, A.J. Pierzynski, Jim Thome, Harold Baines, Jermaine Dye, David DeJesus, John Buck, Billy Butler, Mark Tehan, Kevin Sietzer, Joakim Soria, and Zack Greinke. Photographs of select inventory items will be available on the NLBM's FACEBOOK fan website.
In addition, a number of donated baseballs, bats, and other Negro Leagues and Major League Baseball collectible items will be available for sale.
