The NLBM is a self-guided tour experience. A maximum of eight (8) admission tickets per order can be purchased online. All admission tickets are valid for up to 30 days from the time of purchase.
Purchase Tickets
Groups will experience exhibition text panels, hundreds of photographs, artifacts and several film exhibits that are integrated with a timeline of baseball and African American history. Self-guided length of tour varies but we recommend a minimum of an hour to fully enjoy the exhibit.

Rentals
Due to new 18th Street Pedestrian Mall Construction outside of the main entrance to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, please be advised vehicles may park at the Southwest corner of 18th & Paseo Parking Lot. Also, additional free parking can be located in the behind the museum. All museum visitors can walk south on Vine from 17th Terrace; and enter either through the rear entrance or the front entrance of the Museums on 18th Street. Thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.
Does the NLBM have a preferred catering list?
Yes! The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum has a preferred catering list that can be provided upon booking.
Can more than one person reach out regarding the inquiry of the rental?
No. The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum would prefer one main point of contact that handles all event planning including billing on behalf of the organization or company requesting facility usage.
Can we bring our own alcoholic beverages?
The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum handles all bar service through our own liquor license provided by the City of Kansas City Missouri. Outside organizations or companies.
Can we consider a catering company that’s not on the NLBM’s approved list?
A licensed caterer with credentials has to be on-site.
